 Ana García-Muñoz(anagarciamu15@correo.ugr.es)
Original from Almería, Ana is currently a Master student working on the effect of ploidy and genetic variation on the trait heritability and plasticity. She use species in the incanum complex as the study system. Some of these species co-occur, generating sympatric and allopatric populations and some other appear only in allopatry. These populations and species do not only diverge in their ploidy level, but also in their strategy using selfing or outcrossing as main reproductive way. She does her work in greenhouse conditions using populations of E. incanum, E. wilczekianum and E. repandum from Iberian Peninsula and North Africa. # Reproductive barriers, allopatry, sympatry, ploidy, mating system, selfing, outcrossing.

Celia Vaca-Benito
(celiavb16@correo.ugr.es)
Celia is a second year undergrad student, originally from Puerto Real (Cádiz). Despite her youth she collaborate for years in research and dissemination. She is interested in different aspects of evolutionary biology. Currently she is helping Ana with her Master thesis focused in exploring the effect of ploidy and genetic diversity on trait heritability and phnotypic plasticity in incanum complex species.
